EN 15744 has been published and is available from all European national standards bodies. It contains a brief list of elements considered useful for the unambiguous identification of cinematographic works, not unlike the fifteen elements defined in the Dublin Core Element Set (ISO 15836:2003), but with partly different concepts. EN 15907 has undergone the formal vote process and has been submitted for publication. This standard defines a more comprehensive element set intended to support interoperability between existing and future collections of metadata about cinematographic works.
